Amethysts all over ring

An oval iolite cabochon with a frosted, silvery-violet surface, flanked by two small round amethyst accents on either side. The muted, cloudy quality of the iolite contrasts nicely with the brighter, clearer amethyst beside it. A layered, jewel-toned piece.
