Soft blue-green amazonite, semi-translucent, with something of sea glass about it. Cut as a teardrop and set in a close, carefully fitted bezel — restraint by design. I shaped the bezel by hand against the point of the stone, which is where a teardrop either looks right or does not.
Size 9.25, sterling silver. Calm and unhurried: a ring for ordinary days, which I think is the hardest kind to make well. One only.
