Three tiers, and the color walks from cool to warm as it descends. Amethyst at the top, composed and regal. Aquamarine in the middle, calm and watery. Blush pink quartz at the base, soft and tender.
Each tier hangs from links I made and closed individually, so the three stones move independently and the gradient shifts as you turn your head. This pair came together slowly over a few evenings.
They wear romantic. Long, soft, full of movement, the kind of earrings that make you want to wear your hair up.
I like a piece that changes as it moves, because that is when it stops being an object and starts being worn.
