The same rare fossil fire as my rectangular ammolite, but cut long and narrow as a marquise, so it runs across the finger and the color has somewhere to travel. Tilt your hand and a different part of the stone lights up — the shell's original layers are still stacked inside, doing what they did seventy million years ago.
Size 7.75–8, sterling silver. Dramatic, ancient, quietly astonishing. Entirely one of a kind, as all ammolite is.
