A marquise aquamarine, pointed at both ends, pale as breath. Most of my aquamarine settings are severely plain, but a marquise has two sharp points and a bare bezel made them look harder than the stone deserved — so this one got a beaded edge to soften the outline.
Size 9.25, sterling silver, forged and beaded. Feminine without being fussy: the ring you forget you have on until someone compliments it.
