Freeform Crazy Lace Agate Pendant in Sterling Silver

Cream and rust, swirling with no discipline whatsoever.

A freeform slice of crazy lace agate, cream and rust and tan swirling through it with no discipline whatsoever. I left the outline exactly as the stone came — no squaring off, no tidying.

That meant the bezel had to be built against this specific edge, curve by curve, and I scalloped it so the silver follows the stone's wandering line instead of fighting it. It fits nothing else that exists.

Every solder seam on this frame was flowed by hand and filed back until it disappeared into the surface.

40 mm (H) x 25 mm (W) — 1 5/8 x 1 inches

It wears warm and easygoing, like a stone picked up on a good walk and never put down — which is more or less how I feel about it, and there is only the one.
