Turquoise is the most grounded stone I use — fully opaque, thousands of years of history behind it, no flash and no tricks. Doubling it was about rhythm: two identical stones side by side make a pattern rather than a centerpiece.
The band is the engineering. Because it's open beneath the settings, all the strength has to come from how the silver is forged and where the joins sit, and every solder joint in that structure is carrying weight. I built it heavier than it looks for exactly that reason.
It wears architectural and confident. Bold without being ornate. Size 9.
