Green onyx has no pattern, no flash and nothing to discover — just a flat, decisive green with a polish so wet-looking it seems dipped. Which is also why I risked an ornate setting: a stone with no internal drama can carry a frame that has some. The engraving was cut by hand in one sitting, because that kind of line has to happen in a single mood.
