Deep blue kyanite, with small faceted sapphires set beside it for a harder sparkle. Kyanite is the cooler and more cerebral of the two, a blue that shifts as you turn it. Sapphire is the formal one, absolutely fixed in color, and it holds the tone steady when the kyanite starts drifting.
That is why the sapphires are there. They give your eye a reference point, so the kyanite's shifting reads as movement rather than uncertainty.
They wear saturated and elegant. A subtle statement, if that is not a contradiction: rich color in a small footprint.
