Labradorite Rectangle Pendant in Sterling Silver

Labradorite at its most straightforward: a clean rectangle with soft blue-green flash, bezel-set in silver, and nothing else at all.

The stone rests as gray as slate until light hits it at the right angle, and then the color arrives. That behavior is why labradorite has been called a stone of intuition for as long as people have been naming stones after feelings; it rewards attention and ignores everyone else.

I shaped every curve of this bezel against the stone itself, filed the corners square, and stopped there.

Every edge of this frame was filed square by hand, checked against the light rather than against a ruler.
