Straightforward, and very good. A gray-bodied labradorite oval, twenty by fourteen millimeters, with strong blue flash sweeping across it. Bezel-set close, with the frame kept deliberately quiet.
I make plenty of elaborate things, but a stone that flashes this cleanly earns a frame built to disappear behind it. The discipline here was restraint: close bezel, simple band, low profile, every file mark cleaned back until the metal disappeared behind the stone.
