The flash in this moonstone rolls rather than sparkles — adularescence, light bouncing between microscopic layers inside the feldspar. I hand-textured the silver frame instead of leaving it bright, so the metal reads matte and the stone is the only thing in the piece with any shine. Stacked granulated balls run down each side to give the silhouette some weight.
An everyday piece rather than an occasion one: understated, a little dreamlike, easy to forget until someone notices it. One only.
