The crescent is fossilized dinosaur bone, and I would like you to look closely, because the cell structure you can see is real. Some materials arrive on my bench with more history than I have any right to alter, so I changed nothing about it. Above it I set one round aquamarine in soft seafoam, to give your eye somewhere modern to rest.
