Windblown dunes, laid down by water.
Picture jasper earns its name. Flowing layers of golden tan and creamy white swirl across this cabochon like wind-shaped dunes, and the resemblance is not a coincidence: the bands were laid down by sediment and water, the same forces that shape actual dunes, just far slower.
I framed it in a stepped sterling bezel with linear stamped detailing, keeping the setting structured and geometric so the organic swirl inside has something rigid to push against. Clean box, wild picture.
The stamped lines were struck one at a time around the border, and I shaped every step of that bezel by hand with file and burnisher.

It wears warm and grounding. A landscape at your collarbone, in tan and cream, easy with everything.
Every jasper is cut from a different part of a different formation, so this picture exists once and nowhere else.
