Pietersite carries weather inside it: blue-gray chatoyance swirling through dark material in bands that seem to move as you tilt the stone. I hung it beneath an open filigree frame — wire bent and soldered into lace-like scrollwork with nothing behind it, deliberately vintage in feeling.
