This rose quartz leans peach rather than pink — warmer than the usual bubblegum, closer to blush and apricot, and translucent enough that light goes in and comes back out looking candlelit.
I set it as a simple oval in bright polished silver with no texture anywhere. Rose quartz is the stone people give each other during hard times, and pieces carrying that kind of weight are better left plain. I didn't want my opinions layered on top of somebody's comfort.
I shaped and burnished the bezel by hand so the edge sits soft against the stone rather than sharp — a small thing you'd only feel, not see.
It wears tender. That's an odd word for jewelry and it's the right one.
